The 2nd meeting of project participants took place in Lisbon, Portugal from 3th  to 8th May 2014.

 

There were students from Italy, Greece and Poland accompanied by their teachers.

All students were from vocational schools, as planned.

The meeting started on Saturday 3rd May. We all received a warm welcome from the project coordinator, Teresa Cervalho and the other teachers involved in the project.

After the meeting, we went on a sightseeing tour in Lisbon all day long.

Sunday was full of visits to amazing sights; A tourist tour showed us around Lisbon, Downtown which is full of historicals high sights.

On Monday there were school presentations and a guided tour to ES Antonio Damasio; the whole staff was very welcoming and we appreciate the organization of the school.

In the afternoon we visited the Oceanario where we saw many species of fishes .

 

On Tuesday the 6th May we went to visit Tapada de Mafra where we had the opportunity to see some species of animals in danger.

 

Wednesday was a very important day for all partners, because students showed their presentations about their schools and the cities they came from.

 

It was a very exciting experience, as students could feel  a friendly atmosphere and the sense of belonging to a new international com-munity, with lots of diferences but also  many things in common at the same time.

 

Both students and teachers had the opportunity to exchange ideas and experiences.

In the afternoon we went on a guided tour to Lisbon's Castle. The day finished with a farewell dinner; it was a great dinner. Parents, tea-chers and students prepared many dish specialities.

We took many photos and we made arrangement about how we could get in touch in their future.

Thursday was the day of departures. Both students and teachers were really grateful to the families for the welcoming. The meeting finished with a feeling of friendship and the great desire  to see again each other. All of us were really glad to have been the___ opportunity and chance to be a part of this project.
